Yanti has been teaching beginner ukulele for many years and has created an intensive 3 hour class to get people started playing her favourite instrument. She takes a holistic approach to learning how to play a new instrument and spends lots of time talking about concepts you can take home and teach yourself. Included in the price, is a booklet which includes finger specific exercises, chord charts, 15 songs to learn, and pages for notes. Yanti will touch on concepts dealing with tuning, chords, strums, poly-rhythms of singing and instrument care. This workshop is designed for adults wanting to start learning to play ukulele, seniors looking to increase memory function, teens hoping to jam, families wanting to connect with each other through music, and teachers interested in gaining tools for teaching their students. There are only 20 spots available so sign up with Yanti today by contacting her via email.
