Earls is putting a team together again this year – Earls Walks For You; Tarrant said it was fun last year – staff and their families attended and this year they hope to have even more walkers for SOWINS. A longtime customer of Earls will match, dollar for dollar all the money Earls raises when they walk on July 8^th (to a maximum of $4500). So next time you’re in Earls, pledge one of their staff members who are walking.

Why is it called Walk A Mile In Her Shoes®? Simply stated – PUT YOURSELF IN “HER” SHOES™ – AND WALK A MILE! Ever heard the expression “Walk a mile in my moccasins and you will know my journey”? People – male or female – cannot possibly understand what it is like to be abused, and/or to have children who have watched the abuse or been abused themselves, so this major fundraiser is a light-hearted way to invite ALL people to Walk A Mile in Her Shoes®, and help understand HER journey.
